Marriott is an American multinational company that operates, franchises, and licenses lodging including hotel, residential, and timeshare properties. A partner of Marriott, the Golden Real Estate Investment Group works to develop, acquire and manage assets in the commercial, residential and tourism industries.

Challenge

Kristopher King, Development Manager at Golden Real Estate Investment Group, was looking for qualified applicants to fill a variety of open positions at two Marriott hotels in one Canadian location. He wanted a fast, simple and efficient hiring solution that gave better results than his current recruiting channels. After working to fill the jobs for a few months and finding a lack of candidates available to work in the region, King partnered with Talent.com in July 2021 to help him find the candidates he needed.

Solution

The first solution provided by the Talent.com team was to geo expand the Marriott campaign and distribute their jobs nationally in Canada to more populated cities, asking candidates to relocate.
